[VC] I find comfort in the struggle.

The week is almost over, and I get to eat tacos today with my biz bestie. But let me leave you with a fantastic reminder.

ROCK BOTTOM WILL TEACH YOU LESSONS MOUNTAINTOPS NEVER COULD.

Does that make sense? I can give you a story, would that help? OK!

I know how to be broke.

  • I know how to create a plan for struggle meals.
  • I know how to plan trips, so we're using less gas.
  • I know how to borrow from Peter to pay Paul when it comes to bills, so none of my services get cut off.

Ya girl knows how to have $37 in her bank account and still hit a bar with friends like everything is A-OK. You feel me?

I find comfort in this type of military genius it takes to strategize when I'm broke.

But this financial abundance I find myself in now?

  • 90% of my bills are on autopay because I know there's always money in my accounts.
  • My Gingersnap and I can take a surprise trip to Costo to "look around" and come home with $300 of necessities.
  • If something breaks down, can I replace it before the day is out? Absolutely!

Besides being a parent, being a financially thriving adult is the hardest thing I've ever had to learn to do. And I'm still learning because my instinct is to worry about my cell phone being cut off even though that has happened to me since my late teens ... thank the Goddess for "free after 9 PM"! Am I right?

I hope this helps you!
Love you. Bye!
